I am a postdoc in the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland) since February 2023. I work on federated learning, data synthesis and graphical models in the research group of Prof. Alex Jung.
I defended my PhD dissertation “Interactions of Algebra, Statistics and Optimization” in July 2023. My supervisor is Prof. Kaie Kubjas from the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis, Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland).
Before this I was a member of the Algebra, Number Theory, and Applications Research Group led by Prof. Camilla Hollanti (Aalto) where I wrote my Master’s thesis “Private Information Retrieval: Combinatorics of the Star-Product Scheme” advised by Dr. Ragnar Freij-Hollanti.
Prior to academia, I spent several years working in the corporate sector, incl. McKinsey, start-ups and fundraising.
I was a member of the Standing Committee of the European Women in Mathematics in 2018-2022. I organise humanitarian aid to Ukraine via UA Brokers Without Borders.
